I ran this afternoon (5.5 mi), for the first time since the marathon. My legs didn't feel as dead as I expected, which is a pleasant surprise. And only a few twinges of pain, notably in my achilles tendons, but nothing that a little ice and massage won't cure.
Like you guys care. The good news for you, though, is that I'll no longer be using this blog as my training log. I'm using the training log utility at Nike.com, and I'm quite impressed with it so far (despite the fact that it uses crappy Flash media). I'm also not sure if I can back the data up, pending a response by Nike support. Nevertheless, it's a handy tool.
