Lance Armstrong won his fourth stage of the TdF today, his twentieth win in six years (that's roughly one stage win every six days). There's really no more superlatives left to describe Lance's performance, so I'll let this picture speak. And this one. And this one.
If Lance stays motivated, I don't see any reason why he can't win seven. There's no one who can touch him this year, and I think Basso is two years away. Ullrich, Hamilton and Heras have peaked, and Simoni was never in Armstrong's class to begin with. The only way Lance loses next year is if the TdF organizers require him to ride a BMX bike.
Note also that Floyd Landis is riding a terrific tour. He's shaping up to be the USPS MVP this year. All of a sudden he can climb; who knew?
