Happy Easter!

Peep this: the Pioneer Press ran a Marshmallow Peeps Diorama Contest. While entries did not have to be religious, many were:

Befitting the season, we got no less than four Crucifixion scenes, including two that made reference to the new Mel Gibson movie.

Another religious entry could be described as Memorable Moments in Marshmallow Martyrdom. Created by two Catholic school girls, it depicted four saint scenes, including John the Baptist beheaded, Joan of Arc being burned at the stake, St. Peter crucified upside down on Pop-sicle sticks and St. Stephen being stoned to death by jelly beans.

"Jesus Peeps," pictured below, took second place:

Check out the slideshow for "South Peeps" and "Queer Eye for the Straight Peep," which were also pretty funny.

Considering that we were made in His image and we have a sense of humor, I believe God must have a sense of humor as well. Take that as you will.

THIS PICTURE OF "JESUS PEEPS" IS TOTALLY WRONG. IN MY OPINION IT IS DISRESPECTFUL TO JESUS AND GOD OUR CREATOR.
